This years Village Fete will take place on Saturday 6th August 2011 commencing at 1pmHere are some of the attractions you will find at this years fete- Fun Dog Show, Bouncy Slides, Fairground Rides, Bomb Disposal Display, tanks, Classic Cars, Hog Roast, Magic Russ Childrens Entertainer, Fun Chicken Show, Shire Horse Display, Kineton Quackers, Dry Stone Walling, Clay Pigeon Shoot, Welly Wanging, Coconut Shy, Fully Licensed Bar, Gun Dog Display, Model Railway, Grand Raffle, Farrier Display, Face Painting and lots of stalls from Bric-a-brac to Jewellery. And In The Evening...PARTY IN THE FIELD 7.30pm Tickets are now available for the Avon Dassett Party In The Field. This new event promises an evening of fun and entertinment. Hosts will serve welcome drinks and freshly prepared canapes. An authentic hot buffet meal and desert will be cooked and served on site. Live music performed by Ben Molony on Sitar, our very own Dassett Hounds and the fabulous Ladbroke Rockers will take to the stage to entertain you throughout the evening and our resident DJ will be on hand to play your favourite tracks. A fully licensed bar offering drinks promotions throughout the evening and a mega bouncy slide will help to make this the best summer party around. Do come and support what promises to be a fantastic evening. Bring your friends and family and join in the fun. Money raised by the fete, day and evening, is ploughed back in to charities with village links, community projects and village events such as our Fireworks display and Christmas parties. The Fete Committee team meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 8pm at the Avon Pub and new faces are always welcome.
