Please consider the possible danger to public health caused by dog waste and pick up after your dog. Dispose of dog waste in a safe manner by using the dog waste and public waste bins in the village.
Do not allow your dog to roam the village unattended; you are responsible for your dog's behaviour at all times.
Avon Dassett Parish Council is looking at ways to encourage dog owners to act in a responsible manner and to ask you to adhere to current dog fouling legislation. All dog walkers must pick up the mess if their dog fouls pavements, footpaths, sports fields and play areas. If they fail to do so they will face either a £75 fixed penalty charge or prosecution which could result in a fine of up to £1,000.
To make a specific complaint about dog fouling, please contact Councillor Chris Williams on 01295-770792
